ABOUT ANTOINE
Antoine Rostand is a media commentator, speaker, globally recognised business figure and the President and Co-founder of Kayrros, the world leader in energy and environmental intelligence.
Kayrros uses AI and geoanalytics to turn raw satellite data into actionable insights on energy, supply chains, physical risks, nature and the environment, working with businesses and governments to make energy systems more efficient, improve supply security, boost climate resilience, and manage environmental impacts while enabling investors, insurers, traders and other stakeholders to make faster, smarter decisions.
Before founding Kayrros, Antoine was president and founder of the Schlumberger Energy Institute, a non-profit now known as the Kearney Energy Transition Institute. He was also President and Founder of Schlumberger Business Consulting and played a key role in its development into one of the leading international energy-sector management consultancy firms.
Antoine has appeared at Financial Times Moral Money Europe, COP, the World Economic Forum at Davos, and the Paris Air Show. He was invited to Gabon to share the stage with French President Emmanuel Macron and discuss Kayrros’s work measuring global biomass levels. He is a frequent contributor to The Hill, Fortune and many other publications worldwide.

As President of Kayrros, he has been the architect of award-winning work on methane super-emitters, whose ban would represent exactly the kind of high-impact, low-cost climate intervention that he has stood for throughout his career. Kayrros has also published more than 100 scientific papers. At SBC Energy Institute (now known as AT Kearney Energy Transition Institute), Schlumberger Business Consulting, and Kayrros, which he founded, Antoine gained significant experience in energy, science, technology, and the environment. In 2023, Business Insider named him one of the Top 5 People in Artificial Intelligence Sustainability in the world.
